Unforgettable Cupcakes

Who doesn't love cupcakes? They're the perfect sweet treat for anything! I recently had the most amazing tasting courtesy of Shirley from Unforgettable Cupcakes. I tried four flavors, Chocolate Espresso, Pineapple Coconut, Strawberry Champagne and Cookies n' Cream... my favorite? Pineapple coconut!

Shirley's cupcakes were not only delicious but also priced very reasonable! There are tons of flavors to choose from and endless options as Shirley can make each cupcake completely different or create a uniform look for every flavor. She even offers 6" and 8" mini cakes for brides interested in forgoing the standard wedding cake and opting for the mini version.

Absolutely LOVE chocolate? Well I do, and I know of the perfect place to spend time with your bridesmaids before the big day! Schakolad Chocolate Factory on S. Howard not only makes the most delicious chocolates and truffles, but even allows customers to host, "A Sweet Night Out" at their store. As a Tampa resident I can officially say that I'm obsessed with the local South Tampa foodie market and loft bar, Datz Delicatessen. Not only do they have an amazing wine and beer menu, tons of yummy sweets made in-house by their pastry chef, and the best (and biggest) sandwiches you've ever had.... but now their catering big events! Big as in your engagement party, bridal shower and wedding!

Most locals recognize Datz for their creatively named sandwiches and homemade chips with the blue cheese drizzle.
