Best Look for Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids dresses can be a hard detail to pin down as there are so many styles, colors and fabrics to choose from. Not to mention, with so many girls it's almost always difficult to find one particular dress that looks great on everyone.

Designers are now selling the idea of, "same color different dress" and I absolutely LOVE it! One of our brides has decided to adapt that and have her bridesmaids in one color and her maid of honor(s) in another. If you decide to go this direction as well, here are some helpful details that will let your bridal party show off their individual style while keeping a uniform look.

- Choose 1 designer.
- Make sure all the dresses are in the same color (or color range) and fabric!
- Keep the accessories the same... this goes for shoes as well.
- Similar hair and makeup will ensure everyone looks like their going to the same event.

Monique Lhuillier has these super cute and relaxed styles:

David's Bridal even has a few selections...

My favorite option is by TwoBrids! Same dress, tons of options.

Our 1st BizBash

This week I had the opportunity to attend the event conference and awards BizBash... it was so much fun! Held in Ft. Lauderdale at the Broward County Convention Center it showcased the leading vendors in the event industry. There I attended the Event Leadership Institute and met some fabulous vendors from all over Florida. Here are some of my favorite details from the show:

I loved this Moroccan themed decor company, Caidal's booth!

Room Service by AFR had an ice wall step and repeat where you could get your pictures taken. Bubble had butterfly centerpieces... very creative!

Favorite linen & tabletop! Very clean modern, I love the resort feel it has.

Winner of the tablescape competition. Each table was themed to a different season, this one was "Winter Wonderland."

Another tablescape that was really great... "Easter."

I had an amazing time attending BizBash for the first time this year. Congrats to all the Tampa and Central Florida vendors that won awards!!

Vow Renewal at the Ritz

Recently I had the privilege to attend a vow renewal as a guest with my boyfriend, Crafton. It was amazing! The ceremony was both beautiful and touching and the reception was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't help but blog about the event... take a look at the details:

Ceremony was held indoors at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. The white feathers against the pink drape was stunning! Congrats Kevin & Francesca!

Me & Crafton having a wonderful time!

The centerpieces were silver candelabras overflowing with white cymbidium orchids and crystals with a hydrangea base. Beautiful!

Francesca choose peacock feathers as a theme and carried them from the invitations into the decor and place settings.

This cake was fabulous, plain and simple! I still can't get over how tall it was.....

There I am with the cake towering over me!
